Polishing

Cutting acrylic leaves edges rough, dull and in need of refinement.

Using a combination of state-of-the-art machinery, time tested processes and skilled fabricators, we make quick work of this intricate task. Our automated edge polishers, equipped with diamond polishing bits, can effortlessly polish single parts up to 4 inches thick or multiple stacked parts, ensuring a flawless finish in record time.

We also utilize a range of polishing techniques that require a skilled hand, including sanding, buffing and flame polishing to achieve that perfect shine. Whether it's a single piece or a large production run, we are committed to delivering superior results that exceed expectations.

  • Ideal for large production projects and tight tolerance parts, our computer-controlled edge polishing machines provide industry leading precision and efficiency. These machines utilize diamond bits that can bring a rough edge to a glossy smooth finish in seconds. Angled bevels up to 63 degrees can also be applied for edge treatments.

    We can machine parts up to 4” thick or multiple thinner parts stacked 4” high at the same time.

  • A skilled fabricator with a buffing wheel is a tough combination to beat when a perfect edge is needed. This method of polishing is more time consuming than flame polishing but is recommended on thicker gauges of acrylic and for furniture applications where quality and longevity matter most.

  • A quick and cost effective way to polish acrylic using a torch. This method can be used on a routed or sanded edge and is commonly used for assembled parts and large production projects. Bear in mind that a routed edge that is flame polished will still have small striations from the router bit.
